Chava Tova graduated from Barnard, the women's college of Columbia University, with a degree in Religion (or, in her own description, she earned a degree in "People"). She began her career in the Executive Development Training Program for Bloomingdale's, where she was an Assistant Buyer who the company selected to pioneer their Digital Marketing Promotions Analyst role. She also co-created Bloomingdale's private label home brand.
Since then, she advanced her Communications expertise into a 10+ year career, most recently spearheading the role of Communications and Engagement Lead for a bustling nonprofit organization that serves teens with and without disabilities (and their parents).
She springboarded from her 4 years there to focus entirely on women’s’ and girls’ communication challenges.
Chava Tova is formally trained in Conflict Resolution via Advoz: Mediation and Restorative Practices, and regularly pursues continuing education courses in this field—most recently in August 2026. Among other accolades, she was also a 2022 Subject Matter Expert and Expert Contributor to the “Delivering Powerful Business Presentations” virtual program for Smith College Executive Education.
For speaking engagements, Chava Tova's niches are a) teen girls and b) women in high-stress work environments. Speaking topics include: positive language shifts; conflict mediation for mothers and daughters; general conflict resolution; the power of words; bitachon and Shaar HaBitachon (for Jewish audiences); and dating "red flags"/preparedness seminars targeted to young women ages 18-20.
